Christopher Stones and Danielle Elliott have been awarded their RAF Marksman after a successful day on the 25m range at RAF Innsworth.

Danielle is the first girl in the squadron to achieve this award in more than four years.

To gain the award they both had to qualify on three targets. The first of five rounds had to be within a one to one-and-a-half inch group; ten further rounds on the target in 30 seconds, and a final 20 rounds had to be on a third target, all using the single shot version of the standard British infantry weapon.
