First Aid Training
First Aid is obviously a vital skill, and from 2006 the ATC has introduced a formal qualification to recognise this. Working in conjunction with the St John Ambulance Service, the ATC now offers the cadets to gain the Young LifeSaver Plus Award (see badge above, badge is green for cadets aged 16+).
Cadets will have received fourteen hours of first aid training, culminating in a practical assessment.
